This 1953 midcentury ranch previously had a choppy layout with a tight front entry, closed-off dining room, little natural light and low ceilings. Ascent was proud to partner with Cult Creative on the architecture and design to give this family of four an open, light-filled, indoor-outdoor entertainer’s dream.
The project scope included raising the ceiling height of the living room and adding wood beams which continue out into the newly built backyard patio, demolition of multiple interior walls to create an open concept entry/living/dining space, a complete gut of the powder bathroom, a butler’s pantry remodel, refinished flooring, a new front door and new stair rails.
